About Us
Founded in 2005 by late Mr Kitty Sewpersad in the heart of Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, ALS Chair and Marquee Hire was born from a vision to create more than just event spaces—we set out to build platforms for connection, celebration, and community upliftment. What began as a small, service-driven operation has grown into a nationally respected brand, trusted by government departments, private clients, and grassroots organizations alike.
